I first became aware of Cameron through my lecturer at University. I was looking to go travelling at the end of my studies and my lecturer suggested the graduate scheme with Cameron which combined travel and work and had a programme with a broad scope.

I am currently in my third rotation in Projects which I am really enjoying. There is a great variety and scope in the workload which means that you are involved with everyone throughout the site. I have a real role and live projects to manage with my team of planners. My knowledge and contacts gained through the rotations has been valuable in resolving issues that arise on the job. It can be difficult moving from one rotation to another when you are starting to find your feet. However, the joy of learning new things outweighs this and I am really looking forward to my next rotation in HSE in Louisiana, USA.

The support we receive on the Graduate Rotational Development Programme goes beyond the training we receive on the job. A full training schedule is in place which has developed my presentation and influencing skills giving me affective management skills which I have combined with my role. The company has also supported me in gaining my Post Graduate qualification in Manufacturing Excellence. Once I complete my two years I hope to progress within the Projects department and become a Project Manager.
