You should have achieved or expect to have achieved a 2:1 degree in the discipline required for the specific position. We assess all applicants to determine if they have the core competencies we are looking for. In addition, industry experience or involvement in extracurricular activities would be advantageous.

It is not a requirement that you hold a driving licence.

We are unable to accept Graduates on a Tier 2 visa. In order to gain a place on our programme, you will need to be able to work in the UK permanently without any restrictions.

The majority of our positions will be based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. However for some of Graduate roles you will be based on placements to some of our sister plants worldwide. In addition, we occasionally have Graduate positions listed for other plants in the UK, specifically Aberdeen and London.

When you select the position you would like to apply for you will be asked to submit your CV, answer 3 competency based questions and some personal questions. On registering your interest you will have 2 weeks to complete the application process. You can save and edit as many times as you wish in this 2 week period. However, once you submit your application this cannot be edited.

All applicants will be notified if they have been succesful for the next stage of the recruitment process after the closing date for the relevent position.


The second stage of the recruitment process will consist of a one-to-one interview or telephone interview.

The final stage of the recruitment process is the Assessment Centre which will consist of an interview, psychometric testing, group tasks and a plant tour. If you have been successful at this stage we will welcome you in Summer 2011!

Due to the volume of applicants feedback is only available for those candidates who have attended an assessment centre.
