In Brief

Our 2-year programme, starting in September 2010, is split into 4 placements each lasting 6 months. Initially based in Leeds, you will get the chance to be placed in our plants in Europe and North America and get a real feel for the global Cameron brand.

During your 2 years there will be opportunities to pursue placements in departments including Purchasing and Logistics, Quality Assurance, Operations Management and Manufacturing Engineering gaining a breadth of knowledge which will prepare you for a successful career with us.

What we want from you

Successful candidates will have:

• A strong work ethic, innovation and a high degree of motivation.
• The ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Active involvement and leadership in extracurricular activities.

On top of this we ask for a 2:2 or above in an Engineering or Business related degree, the flexibility and desire to carry out placements in different locations and the right to work in the UK.

What we offer in return

In return a starting salary of £23,500 is not bad. You will also receive 25 days holiday per year plus private medical insurance as a perk as well as the opportunity to travel, work and live amongst different cultures. We also enhance your learning and development with management training throughout your programme.

Recruitment Process

We will review everyone to see if you have the qualities we are looking for and notify you if you have been successful in gaining a place on one of our Assessment Centres. The Assessment Centre will consist of an interview, psychometric testing, group tasks and a plant tour. If you have been successful we will welcome you in September 2010!
